Saturation Diving Badges Catalogue
Every Roblox badge, the unlock steps, and the fastest route to the full set.
Roblox badges in Saturation Diving are account-level achievements that persist across wipes and unlocks. There are currently 20 badges split across four categories: dive, combat, economy, and hidden. The wiki tracks every badge the developer has shipped, the unlock conditions, and the fastest farming route for completionists. This page mirrors the in-game badges screen and is updated within an hour of every patch.
How Badges Work
Badges are awarded by the Roblox platform once the game server confirms an unlock condition. Unlike the in-game achievements (which are surfaced in the player’s profile and can be reset on wipe), badges are permanent — once you earn a Saturation Diving badge, it stays on your Roblox profile forever, even across beta wipes.
Each badge awards Roblox XP (the Roblox platform’s profile XP system, not in-game credits). The XP totals are small — typically 50 to 200 per badge — but the badge display on your profile is the primary flex for completionist divers.
Dive Badges (6)
The dive category covers raw diving milestones.
- First Dive — surface from your first complete dive. Awarded automatically after the tutorial.
- Twilight Veteran — surface 10 successful dives from Twilight Reef.
- Mid Ridge Pioneer — surface from your first successful Mid Ridge dive.
- Black Mound Descent — surface from your first successful Black Mound dive. Requires the endgame trio gear.
- Hadal Survivor — surface from your first successful Abyssal Hollow dive.
- Century Diver — surface from 100 successful dives across any zone. The longest grind in the badge set.
Combat Badges (5)
The combat category tracks entity kills and clean extractions.
- First Strike — deal the killing blow to any entity. Most divers earn this on a Brine Jelly in Twilight Reef.
- Wraith Hunter — kill a Pressure Wraith in Mid Ridge. The entities guide documents the safe pattern.
- Maw Crawler Crusher — kill a Maw Crawler. Requires a coordinated squad of three or more.
- Hadal Survivor — (separate from the dive badge) — surface from a Black Mound dive after killing an Abyssal Stalker. Different unlock than the dive Hadal Survivor.
- Maw Lord Vanquisher — defeat the Maw Lord in the Abyssal Hollow. Requires a full four-role squad with S-tier perks.
Economy Badges (5)
The economy category tracks credit and ore milestones.
- First Thousand — bank 1,000 credits at the cargo bay. Most divers earn this in their first hour.
- Salvage Tycoon — bank 10,000 credits total. Pairs with the upgrades guide priority order.
- Ore Hoarder — bank 100 stacks of common ore.
- Rare Strike — bank your first stack of rare ore. Typically earned in Mid Ridge.
- Black Mound Bankroll — bank 50,000 credits total. The economy badge for endgame divers.
Hidden Badges (4)
The hidden category is the set completionists hunt for. None of these are surfaced in the in-game achievements list; you have to discover them by playing.
- Pressure Cooker — reach 5.0 atm in the Abyssal Hollow and surface alive. The badge is awarded only if your hull never breached.
- Quiet Steps — complete a full Twilight Reef dive without sprinting. The unlock condition is checked server-side.
- Echo in the Dark — ping a Pressure Wraith with the Pulse Array Mk III and surface within 10 seconds. The fastest of the hidden set.
- First to Surface — be the first diver in a public lobby to surface from a Black Mound dive. The rarest of the hidden set because it depends on lobby timing.
Fastest Route To Full Completion
If you are chasing the full 20-badge completion, the wiki’s recommended route is:
- Day 1: earn First Dive, First Thousand, First Strike, Twilight Veteran, Ore Hoarder, Salvage Tycoon (10K), and Pressure Cooker (skip if not yet in hadal).
- Day 2: earn Mid Ridge Pioneer, Wraith Hunter, Maw Crawler Crusher, Rare Strike, and Quiet Steps.
- Day 3: earn Black Mound Descent, Black Mound Bankroll, Hadal Survivor (dive), and Hadal Survivor (combat).
- Day 4+: earn Maw Lord Vanquisher, Centurion Diver, Echo in the Dark, and First to Surface. The last two are RNG-dependent.
This route assumes a four-role squad with at least one Captain and one Spotter. Solo divers can still earn every badge except First to Surface — that one requires a public lobby.
Pair With The Other Player Guides
- The community page lists the Discord channels where badge hunters share tips.
- The diver roles guide explains which role is best for the badge grind.
- The entities guide documents the combat encounters required for the combat badge set.
What The Wiki Tracks
The wiki updates this page within an hour of any badge change. The three signals the wiki watches:
- Patch notes — the developer announces new badges in the updates tracker and the patch notes page.
- Roblox API — the wiki polls the game’s public badge list weekly and flags any badge added or removed.
- Discord pins — the developer sometimes drops a badge hint in Discord before the patch ships; the wiki treats Discord-only hints as speculation until the in-game badge appears.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How many badges are there in Saturation Diving?
There are currently 20 badges split across four categories: dive (6), combat (5), economy (5), and hidden (4). The wiki updates this page within an hour of any new badge.
Do badges persist across wipes?
Yes, badges are permanent. They are awarded by the Roblox platform and stay on your profile even across beta wipes. Only the in-game achievements reset during a wipe.
What is the rarest badge?
First to Surface is the rarest because it depends on public lobby timing. Maw Lord Vanquisher is the rarest in absolute terms because it requires a full endgame squad. The wiki tracks completion rates on the community Discord.
Can I earn badges in private servers?
Yes, every badge except First to Surface can be earned in a private server. First to Surface requires a public lobby because the unlock condition checks the lobby's player list at the moment of surfacing.
Are there secret badges the wiki does not know about?
Possibly. The hidden badge set is the category the developer adds to between major patches. The wiki treats anything not surfaced in the in-game achievements list or the Roblox API as "suspected hidden" and marks it accordingly.
