Patch Notes and Updates

This page is the official changelog mirror for Saturation Diving on Roblox. Every patch the developer ships — from minor hotfixes to full wipe waves — gets logged here with the change list, the date it went live, and what it means for your current gear and credits.

Beta Roadmap (Public Trello)

The developer publishes a public Trello board that tracks planned work across four columns: Backlog, In Progress, Beta Wave, and Live. The cards we are watching most closely right now:

  • Wave 3 beta invite expansion — opening the playtest to a wider audience.
  • Black Mound boss encounter — final encounter for hadal-tier divers.
  • Crew voice chat — proximity VOIP for sub-to-sub and diver-to-diver comms.
  • Custom sub skins — cosmetic shell swaps earned through milestone events.

How to Report a Bug

  1. Reproduce the bug in a private server. If you cannot reproduce it on demand, the developer may not be able to fix it.
  2. Record a 30-second clip showing the issue. The developer triages bugs faster with video than with text.
  3. Open a ticket in the official Discord #bug-reports channel. Include your platform (PC / mobile / console), diver role, gear loadout, and zone.
  4. Mirror the report on the public Trello Bug Reports column if it affects multiple divers. The developer upvotes the most-reproduced issues first.

Beta Wipe Calendar

Beta wipes are scheduled (not random) and always announced 48 hours in advance on Discord. When a wipe is imminent:

  • Spend credits on consumables, not permanent upgrades.
  • Bank rare salvage in your sub’s storage locker — it persists across wipes.
  • Avoid pushing into Black Mound the night before a wipe — losing a hadal run to a forced reset is brutal.

Pair Updates With the Tier List

The Gear Tier List is refreshed after every Wave listed above. If you see a new S-tier item in this log, check the tier list immediately to see where it lands in the priority order. The upgrades guide walks through the actual upgrade tree for the current meta.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

When is the next beta wipe?

Beta wipes are scheduled 48 hours in advance on the developer Discord. The current wave (2.4) does not have a wipe scheduled.

Do I lose everything on a wipe?

Permanent unlocks (role XP, learned recipes, milestone rewards) persist. Gear, credits, and consumables reset. Bank what you care about in your sub storage locker before the wipe window.

Where can I see the public roadmap?

The Trello board is linked from the [Official Links hub](/wiki/). Cards shift between columns as work progresses.

How do I know which patch I am on?

Look at the version stamp in the submarine cockpit bottom-right corner. It shows the current wave number and the in-game build hash.
